Look Familiar, Amy?

Do not:
1. take a needle out of a stalled project and not leave a note that you replaced it with a different size
2. forget to write on the pattern what needle size you ended up getting gauge with
3. start knitting on that stalled project in the half dark while watching an engrossing movie
4. be lame and not bother to check your gauge even though you haven’t touched that sweater since the fall

You can see from the arrow down that the gauge is a leeeetle bit tight. I only discovered it when I laid it out to photograph it the next day. One size up was all it took to match the rest of the sweater perfectly. At least it scared me straight and I dug around yesterday, putting notes on projects and making sure the patterns had any changes written on them.

Such.a.spaz.

The squirrels are cute, though, aren’t they? They’re done in Rowan Harris DK, which I LOVE. I need tons and tons, I think, for many sweaters.

I love them! Did you know we don’t have squirrels here? OR wait, chipmunks. One of the two. I think you need trees for that??

Hey sweet pea spaz…I just bought 30 balls of rowan’s highland tweed (renamed since harris tweed company thought people may think there is an association)…in 4 ply for mittens….I am hoping to make miss boo a pair of the child’s latvian mittens (sometime this year…really)…and then on to adult ones…really…I think so atleast…
