I’m getting there with the Colori socks. I can’t wait for cool weather so I can wear them. I’ve made a ton of these socks, but never keep any for myself. These are mine. All mine!
I have finished a new sample scarf for my scarf kits. I’m pleased as punch with how it looks. They’re all so different. This one isn’t even in a color I’d like to wear, but I love it. M, it’s on its way!
As soon as the Colori socks are done, I think I’ll start some monster socks. This is about 200 grams of self-patterning sock yarn leftovers. These socks will be MENTAL. I think this is how I’ll make a new pair of socks for my favorite Lulu child. How can I resist a child who loves hand knit socks? I can’t!
I got to the tippy tip of the toe of my sock and couldn’t decide if it felt snug because it’s so damn hot out or if it was really snug, so I had to put that away before I pitched a fit. It will make its appearance tomorrow, hopefully.
The example scarf for my scarf kit is coming along so well. I haven’t knit one in ages, so it’s fun all over again. These colors are quite fetching, too, no?

I got my hair into braids this morning. This is a big deal, if you know that it wasn’t long ago that I looked like this:
Now I just need to make it through the summer without chopping it off on an especially sweaty day.
I spun up and overdyed some seriously horrid-colored wool top yesterday. Just a pinch of blue and a pinch of black was all it took, and it’s been improved by leaps and bounds, I think. I’m going to knit a display scarf for my friend who sells my scarf kits in her store. If you’re ever in Dublin, NH, why not visit her at the Dublin General Store? She’s got great yarn, hers and mine included.
I had to pull it up. I couldn’t wait any longer! Sadly, my carrots are still so teensy tiny. It’s only an inch long, but it is super cute, isn’t it? I’m amazed I can grow a carrot at all, so I’ve got that going for me.
