Washing Yarn
This is the yarn I spun last night. I have to wash it in scalding hot water to set the twist. |
*sigh*
Will my husband ever learn that wood-handled knives don't go in the dishwasher? I didn't think so. |

Dyes at the Ready
Exciting, no? |

Crockpot o' Wool
This has to simmer for 3 hours. |

Dyed Yesterday
Now it's dry for me to spin today. |

Lunch
Pasta with garlic, red pepper, sundried tomatoes, olive oil, and copious amounts of cheese. It was GOOD! |
Poor Shambles!
Look at the chaos I've created around the poor fellow. |

Spinning...spinning
This is the Merino I dyed yesterday. It's soft as one of SarahIvy's duckies, I bet. |

Tired Girl
Here I am in the living room, where I spin in the nice light from that window. |
All Spun
It looks like some creepy sea creature, doesn't it? |
Shambles
Just in from his walkies. |

Easter Treats from Mom
Too many books. Not enough candy. |
Wool from the Crockpot
I get to spin this tomorrow. |
More Yarn
Including some mohair. I work hard! |

View from Our Yard
The kids who live in that tan house on the left ROCK. They taught me how to say "dog" in Vietnamese. |

View to the Right of My House
The people with the Irish flag are the ones who won the lottery. My friend Anne lives in the house with the white porch on the right. |

The Asstache
Like a moustache, only on his ass. |
