A Weight is Lifted

I hope everyone waiting for me to ship the fiber club wasn’t as upset about the delay as I was. All of the packages are sealed and labeled and waiting for the postman at this very moment. Later on today, they’ll be winging their way to you.

Want to see? Want to see?

This is a fiber I’ve used for the club once before, but I have a new supplier and ooh, is it nice. I couldn’t resist. You’re getting a nice big 5 oz. chunk, as well. I hope everyone enjoys it.

Future Clubs:

I plan on taking a month, maybe two, off between the end of the current club and the start of the next one. We are planning a move to Western MA in the near future, and hoo boy, is that ever going to be an undertaking. Even if we don’t move during the break, I’ll be able to get a bit ahead of the fiber club so that I have something to ship during the move. This is all very good news for Hello Yarn, as I’ll finally be able to spread out and really do my thing in a big old house in the country. I can’t wait.

Knitting:

I actually still knit, though you wouldn’t know it from the blog. Now that I can actually breathe a bit, I’ll definitely post about my new, fancy project very soon.

    Hooray for Western Mass!
    I’m guessing Northampton?
Your mitten projects from the past year have inspired me to knit mittens in a way that I never would have thought possible.
Can’t wait to see the pictures of your new project!

I had no idea you were planning a move. I bet you’ll love it out in the sticks. :-)

Dude. Are there sheep involved in this move? Otherwise, I am totally against it. ;)

Beautiful club fiber. How could anyone be mad about receiving that in their box?

Good news about the move. I used to live in western Mass, and it was beautiful there. Of course, that was about two decades ago now… but it has got to be more peaceful than the Boston area! And space is always wonderful! Congratulations!

How exciting! I’ve often wondered how you get so much done in your little space, esp. now that you’re so in demand!

No drama on the delay. The fibre looks fantastic and is well worth the wait. Good luck for a stress-free move. Hope it all goes very smoothly for you.

I grew up in Western Ma (amherst). It is a perfect place if you are looking for a big old house in the country. Good luck on the move! (p.s. recently bought the fiddlehead pattern. Can’t wait!!)

Yay for moving to more rural areas! We’ve just done that and I’m so glad.

You’re moving?! Just when I meet you?! Aside from that: excellent!

  14. Shannon

I haven’t decided on whether to peak at the fiber yet or not – but I know it will be worth the wait!

Congratulations on the move and it will be a well deserved break! We’ll all be waiting for you to return.

What? Ditto Maryse. + I’m bummed that you’re leaving us. + I’m psyched to have another WMA visit on my frequent trips out there. + it’s yet another thing to add to the list of reasons that I wanna move back out there. + a big rambling farm house is the perfect location for a Cummington party. Just sayin’. So yeah, please tell us where you’re headed.

Am anxiously awaiting your mitten kits. I to hail from a small town in Cambria County, Pa – where were you located? Will you have mittens in the colorway that you did for your Mom?

Your moving to Western Ma! I grew up in Monterey. *sigh* It was great. I can remember riding my bike to the general store to buy penny candy. Western Ma. is a beautiful place to live! I hope your move goes smoothly : )

This is my first club fiber and I have been so excited for it to come! Thanks for the link, I just had to peek ;) I’m wishing you the best with your move… and hoping that the break in the club won’t interfere with my plan to perpetuate my membership forever ;) I was lucky to get in this time!

A much deserved vacation – even if it means I have to wait a while for the next club :-)

Hope you enjoy the move. We’re in the country and loving it!
